About SNB

Susan Newark Books is an independent company publishing diverse titles, including short fiction, memoir, travel, romance, humor, children’s, and educational.

Susan has an MFA in English/Creative Writing and has done post-graduate work in Gender Studies, British and American Literature, and Sociology. She is retired from teaching college English/Writing Lab and owns an online media store. Her hobbies are reading, wildlife watching, photography, hiking, and traveling.

The Susan Newark website offers print books for sale, including The Merry Muse Gazette, a new journal of compassion, humor, and good news and Lizz and the Monsoon, a rhyming children’s story with workbook focusing on reading comprehension and vocabulary development. (All titles are also available on eBay, Amazon, and Kindle eBook).

SNB is not currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts, though publication of other authors may follow in future, especially for sections of The Merry Muse Gazette. All content must be free of violence, homophobia, sexism, racism, misinformation, and cultural biases.
